Tillys Play and Development Centres are a family owned business that has been providing high quality care and education for children birth to 12 years since 1994, employing more than 350 passionate Educators throughout the Hunter, Maitland, Newcastle and Port Stephens regions. Thanks to our dedicated and passionate Educators we have an increase in occupancy throughout our company, leading us to an incredible opportunity to employ more passionate Educators! 

We are currently looking for a Diploma Qualified Educator for a programming role our long day care centre at Cardiff in a programming role.

Essential Requirements and Key Responsibilities of this role:

*Hold a Diploma of Early Education and Care

* Programming experience

* Hold a Current Working with Children Check NSW

* Hold a First Aid/CPR/Asthma/Anaphylaxis certificates

* Be passionate about Early Years learning and development

* Uphold the Tillys values of; professionalism; high quality care; inclusive and supportive relationships; unique learning environments; play based learning

* To work in accordance with the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulation, National Law and the National Quality Standards for Early Education and Care Develop reciprocal and respectful relationships with the children

* Develop strong partnerships with families and the community

* Implement the policies and procedures of the service at all times

* Work in a team toward continuous improvement in all areas of the service's operation.

* Uphold your Duty of Care at all times

* Knowledge and understanding of:

  • National Quality Framework (NQF)
  • Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

* Professional standard of written and verbal communication
