About the Centre/Service Wattletree Early Childhood Centre is well regarded within the community, with the support of our parent Committee of Management and our professional team of educators we are committed to providing a nurturing, educational, and child-safe environment.
Our not-for-profit centre is unique with inviting play spaces and beautiful large outdoor areas which supports children's learning and development. We aim to provide a service that is an extension of the individual child's home, where families and educators work collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes are achieved.
Work Days of the Role Monday-Friday
Hours of Work of the Role 38 hours per week
Description We are looking for an experienced Educator to work in all classrooms across our service. This position is permanent full-time, with a fortnightly RDO. Candidates must have at least 12 months of previous experience within the early childhood sector. Including sound knowledge of leading a dynamic team, an in-depth understanding of the EYLF, and building caring relationships with our children, families, and local community.
Qualifications We require applicants to have the following;
- A current
Working With Children Check
- Experience, enthusiasm and a passion for working with children
- Minimum of a Diploma in Children's Services
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
- Knowledge of the Victorian, National Frameworks and NQS
- Knowledge of the Child Safe Standards
- Sound verbal/written English skills
