Direct Lending Specialist - Part Time

It’s an exciting time here at ING, and we have an opportunity for a Direct Lending Specialist to join our Direct Mortgages team here in Wyong!
As part of a dynamic and customer experience driven team, you’ll be responsible for supporting customers through the application process. This could involve chasing additional documents required, speaking with them over the phone to answer their questions, or working closely with specialist colleagues to finalise their application for review.
The is a Part Time position, working 29 hours a week and requires you to work on a rotating roster during the team’s hours of operation: 7:45am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday, though consideration will be given to current flexible working requests
What you’ll do
Managing a pipeline of customers, from Application to Formal Approval, to ensure they are kept up to date on all phases of their application journey
Working through a large volume of tasks including phone calls & electronic communication, to assist our clients through the milestones of the home loan process
Collection & collation of customers supporting documents preparing the file for credit assessment
Ensuring the deal is packaged in the correct format to ensure First Time Right credit assessment
Ensuring quality assurance & compliance processes are adhered to.
Work collectively with your team members to ensure a consistent level of service is provided to all Direct Mortgages customers.
What we’re looking for
A positive attitude and passion for providing an exceptional customer experience.
A knowledge of Home Loan products or the application journey is beneficial
Keen attention to detail and drive to achieve set goals.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to be flexible to ensure all tasks in the team are completed timely
The ability to work autonomously as well as within a team to support others.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build rapport.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
