What is the role?
Tenure: Permanent Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to lead critical initiatives in the Aboriginal Engagement and Economic Development Directorate (AEED).
The role of the AEED is to ensure the effective coordination and implementation of JTSI’s ‘Aboriginal Engagement and Partnerships Framework’ across our organisation, to embed Aboriginal values in the way that we work, and to support Aboriginal engagement, partnerships, and our commitment to reconciliation.
In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, with a specific focus on leading the establishment and management of the JTSI’s Aboriginal Business, Trade and Investment Advisory Board. Provide strategic advice to the Corporate Executives, Ministers and Governance boards. Lead and manage project teams to implement strategic outcomes, representing the department on relevant committees to enhance project delivery. Take lead in managing the annual reporting and budget processes for AEED and JTSI's Reconciliation Action Plan. Provide guidance and leadership to foster a culture of cultural respect and engagement throughout the department.
