As the Western Australian Government agency providing shared services to the state’s public health system, we provide a suite of financial, ICT, procurement and supply, and workforce services to more than 60,000 employees across WA’s public health services and hospitals.

Your new role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced person for the role of Director Assurance, Compliance and Analytics

This is a Permanent Full Time Appointment.  

As part of the Health Support Services (HSS) Workforce and Organisational Development (W&OD) Business Unit, the Director AssuranceCompliance and Analytics (ACA) is responsible for: 

  • Contributing to the strategic direction and management of HSS. Leading and managing ACA’s three key areas: Policy and Process Assurance, Legislation and Workflow Management and Workforce Data and Analytics.
  • Providing exceptional leadership to drive improved strategy and workforce outcomes through enhanced data analytics, reporting and information products.
  • Providing leadership guidance and advice on the application of legislation and award/industrial instrument changes to system and other workflow processes.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to support the delivery of employment and payroll services to meet policy frameworks, statutory and legislative requirements, industrial instruments and appropriate management of risk.
  • Leading and managing the implementation and maintenance of a quality assurance and compliance framework consistently across the delivery of human resource management systems and processes.
  • Providing strategic leadership to the people in the business unit and responsibility for fostering an environment which facilities the achievement of the business unit objective.
  • Leading and facilitating complex workforce related research and projects.
