A day in the life:

Reporting to the Vice President, Brand Marketing and Community, APAC, this role Builds the market Brand and Community strategy bringing to life lululemon's key differentiator for Australia & New Zealand (AUNZ). This role drives brand equity, awareness, segmented activity, and product stories in order to support market growth. The role is responsible for detailed data analysis on key business drivers and assists in the provision of information to support key business decisions along with overall budget management. As part of the leadership team you will create and oversee our channel strategy across AUS/NZ via an 18-month brand calendar and roadmap -ensure storytelling is connected, relevant and adds value across online and offline platforms.

  • Maintain regional concept map & GTM marketing calendar.
  • Handle global & international relationships & partners with functional stakeholders for campaign execution.
  • Review global campaigns and adapt concept/casting/messaging/activation strategy for the region.
  • Support global with brand insights + research.
  • Coordinate with local teams to execute global and regional campaigns.
  • Co-create global / regional campaigns through effective communication and collaboration - leveraging AUNZ market maturity and resources to pilot ideas that can be leveraged across the region.
  • Lead the development of local campaigns / weeklies / initiatives to drive local relevance and grow under penetrated categories (Men/PLAY/Core/RUN).
  • Manage sustainability related brand programs> "SB&I" currently this is being handled under different teams, sustainability is separate and B&C with "HeretoBe + CI" brand programs.
  • Creating strategic brand content specific to AUS/ NZ markets owing to reverse seasonality calendar and campaigns.
  • Closely partner with e-commerce and store team to drive traffic and guest engagement to support our growth.
  • Lead and support within SSC team as key leader in AUNZ how to promote and enhance lululemon culture and create environment when team has strong willingness to work together cross-functionally.
  • Lead and develop multifunctional, high-performing brand team -communications, and creative Day-to-day business partner to product and digital teams.
  • Partners with our global Brand and Community team to drive results at the local level through big picture strategy and 18-month brand calendar.
  • Manage the strategic growth and development of the brand across men's and women's.
  • Drive brand growth and integrate company mission into business plans and initiatives; identify and seize opportunities; direct initiatives, programs, or products.
  • Responsible for management of annual budget process, including working with peers and management team to set and manage budget.
  • Champion brand experience and growth at a strategic level

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business-related field and 10+ years' experience in the marketing field with a high profile, globally branded organization.
  • Experience managing in a large matrix organization, plus experience of scaling smaller teams a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and coach, and a history of hiring, managing and leading high performing teams
  • Sharp financial and business acumen and P&L experience
  • Experience in a leading Consultancy or global retail/brand a bonus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to define, drive and deliver on customer and financial ROI goals
  • Team-oriented with ability to effectively collaborate with partners across the organization at all levels, ability to negotiate and influence peers and members of cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities and drive with urgency
  • Strong communication/presentation skills and executive presence
