The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, who can seamlessly work with our IT team and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives and lead the Business Transformation Directorate within Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS).
As the Director Business Transformation, you will lead and manage the development of business improvement activities and major project delivery to support DoT’s continued adoption of customer-centric service channels. By fostering effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, you will ensure business processes and systems are in place to meet, support and complement legislative requirements and government and community expectations.
The successful applicant will be an expert and effective leader with experience planning, managing and delivering multiple business improvement and/or change management projects. A passion for human-centred digital transformation and a real commitment to achieving outcomes is essential.
In this integral Director position, you will contribute to the planning of strategic business priorities for DVS and the Department, collaborating with the Executive Director and other key stakeholders to ensure agreed outcomes are delivered.

The Director Business Transformation opportunity is available for 10 months with the possibility of extension and or permanency.

- (SC1) Extensive experience in developing and delivering business improvement and/or change management strategies for a large complex organisation.
- (SC2) High level leadership and management skills and experience to simultaneously plan, manage and deliver multiple projects using a variety of resources.
- (SC3) Highly developed verbal, interpersonal communication and presentation skills, together with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- The CV must contain the complete names and contact information of two (2) referees who can provide feedback on the applicant's capacity to meet all the Essential Work-Related Requirements. At least one of the referees should be the applicant's immediate (most recent) supervisor/manager unless there are exceptional circumstances.
