- Leading the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic directions, policies and projects for Closing the Gap & Transformation across the Department to drive reform and directly contribute to better social and economic outcomes for Aboriginal people and communities.
- Building strong partnerships with cultural leaders across Aboriginal Nation Groups to negotiate and co-design strategy and services.
- Providing high-level strategic and expert advice on projects, issues, trends and emerging research and practices that affect Aboriginal children, youth, families and communities.
- Developing and maintaining effective high-level relationships with the key cultural leaders, community, non-government and government stakeholders and provide ongoing strategic advice to the Executive Leadership Team.
Some out of hours work may be required.
