(GDF) is a physical and virtual hub for ideation, validation and demonstration of agritech innovations under both controlled and real operating conditions. It is an extensive research and innovation facility of choice, inspiring and educating clients towards a dynamic, sustainable farming future.
In this role, you will be responsible for positioning the GDF at the forefront of research, innovation and commercialisation into digital technologies on-farm for food and fibre production.
You will provide leadership and undertake business planning, development and implementation activities to ensure the GDF meets its strategic and operational goals.
To be successful you will have:
- Strong experience and achievement in leading and managing related business development projects.
- Strong understanding of innovation in farming practices and an understanding of innovation pathways.
- Previous experience in strategic leadership of significant initiatives with co-investment and/or multi stakeholders.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement capabilities.
