The purpose of this role is to support an enterprise-wide transformation initiative to realise global operating efficiencies, supported by a technology change and successful implementation of a new ERP system. The role will be the Cochlear lead for the function’s process design and deployment with objective to deliver simplified global processes through a new ERP system to enable Cochlear’s next phase of growth.The role will closely collaborate with the stream leads across all four end-to-end areas of Forecast to Plan, Plan to Inventory, Offer to Cash and Record to Report and will report into the Global Owner for Plan to Inventory. This role will also work closely with the Delivery Manager and Change Leads to ensure the successful organisation and co-ordination of the execution of the program. They must ensure business alignment across Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service and other business functions globally.Key to success will be leading through stakeholders and SMEs to determine critical process outputs, together with leveraging “out of the box” best practice processes which the System Integrator / Vendor will provide to establish a consistent process foundation.Accountabilities:
  • Accountability 1 - Global substream owner for Inventory Planning process design and deployment to deliver simplified global processes reflective of agreed target operating model and aligned with common best practice of the ERP solution.
  • Accountability 2 - Effective data, integrations & testing approach for Inventory Planning to support successful go-live of new ERP system
  • Accountability 3 - Proactively lead readiness to support successful adoption of Inventory Planning processes
  • Accountability 4 - Proactively contribute and lead to deliver the Amplify business transformation
Sample Deliverables
  • Implement out-of-the-box Inventory Planning and MRP system
  • Work with the existing Planning teams to identify and deliver the business process changes and operating model changes required to utilise the new solution as intended
  • Participate as an equal member of the GSC Transformation Leadership team to design and deliver our future state
About You:Required Skills:
  • Experienced leader within large multi-national organisations, with a proven track record of strategic execution; managing the pursuit and delivery of value creation opportunities, business growth, business transformation and change.
  • Subject matter expertise in relevant in designated sub stream process
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with an ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders, of varying levels, and both internal and external to the organisation.
  • Proven track record of success in working in transformational programs within complex environments.
Desired Skills:
  • Strong understanding of business processes from an IT and operational perspective, and experience in the creation of new processes
  • Ability to work cross functionally at the enterprise level to drive change and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to forecast predictive performance of workstreams/initiatives and suggest interventions.
