The Job
The Director ofDirector of Digital Operations, Technology and Delivery Innovation is responsible for managing a team of Technology and Delivery Innovation Specialists. The Director and team will primarily be supporting regional Digital Operations. The Director will be responsible for helping to define and align the team around global operations standards and best practices. This position will manage, develop and grow the existing team as well as support the pursuit of opportunities for innovation and improvement within Digital Operations. This position will influence the design of existing and future service delivery standards, Technology and methodology to ensure it remains ahead of the market and customer needs. The Director will drive the team to support Digital Operations with continuous innovation and improvement, subject matter expertise, creative solution design, high performance team building, and have vision into regional market direction and execution of Iron Mountain services to achieve the desired impact within existing and new markets. This position is responsible for guiding and leading a team to meet operational goals and financial targets for Iron Mountain's Digital Business.
The Responsibilities
Ensure the growth and development of the Specialists team, set the expectations and culture of the team
Support Digital OperationsTechnology and Delivery Innovation initiatives through executive level interactions and thought leadership activity
Coordinate with core Iron Mountain leadership to plan, develop and execute Technology and innovation initiatives
Develop and execute team process, coverage and engagement strategy
Develop and support Team goals and objectives as well as team members personal and professional growth
Support the team with onsite operational reviews including:
Focus on innovative solution and technology design as well as six sigma lean processes for Digital Operations
Site and service design reviews to support improvements in productivity and efficiencies
Training for the team and individual team members
Industry, Market and Competitive Education for the team by keeping informed on competitive services, new technologies and market trends
Innovation initiatives development and review with team members and internal partners/stakeholders
Team alignment and relationship development
Communication/alignment with internal and external services partners

The Person
Bachelor's Degree required
5+ years of management experience in at least 3 of the following primary disciplines:
Experience leading or managing teams in a services focused organisation
Proven experience in effective technology forward solution/services delivery that met business objectives
Business Process Outsourcing operational and technical experience preferred - mailroom, scanning, data capture, etc.
Business solutions leveraging Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Content Management, Document Management Systems, Workflow, Business Process Management and/or Information Governance
Experience with document scanning/digitisation service delivery and proven experience in advanced document capture and data recognition technologies
Operational optimisation/continuous improvement team management experience with Six Sigma practices
Ability to serve as an ambassador for Digital Operations Innovation across countries and regions through creating relationships and paths to success with individual operations
Ability to articulate a vision of the future-state backed by data analysis, as well as the execution path
Excellent data analysis skills
Advances spreadsheet and/or intermediate database skills
Strong knowledge of standard processes that can be scaled in a production environment
Comfortable presenting results of detailed analysis in summary to higher levels of the organisation in order to gain support and approval
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Proficiency in English required; multilingual is a plus
Able to work with cross-functional teams to plan and accomplish goals
Comfortable reviewing financial models and understanding cause and effect of actions in the operations
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills
Self-motivated and a strong drive to seek information and support in succeeding
Ability to influence and negotiate
Ability to make decisions and think in broad terms, considering the impact to the entire company
Ability to team effectively at all levels of Iron Mountain and customer personnel (to include C-level) on a wide range of topics and issues
