The Role
 
The College seeks to appoint a Director of Educational Operations to work collaboratively with staff across the whole school to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of day-to-day operations. This significant leadership role is part of the College’s Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the Principal, this position is responsible for leading the core administrative functions of the school in terms of systems and processes; policy and procedure development, implementation, and documentation; whole school risk management and evaluation. The Director of Educational Operations works collaboratively with staff across the whole school to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of day-to-day operations, so that student learning and opportunities are maximised.
 
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
  • Capacity to lead and encourage with thought and care.
  • High level analytical and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of the essential processes and practices required for the smooth operations of a school. 
  • Be highly visible, building strong and productive relationships with students, staff and parents, and be a compelling advocate for the College.
  • Experience in managing whole of College timetables may be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated record of successfully promoting and communicating key strategic objectives to staff, ensuring there is understanding, engagement and participation by all staff.
  • Commitment to encouraging successful student outcomes, fostering a caring and supportive environment for students that builds confidence and self-responsibility at all ages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and parents.
  • Effective time management strategies and the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Positive energy, resilience, good judgement, warmth, calm and be supportive of the Coomera Anglican College purpose and values culture and Anglican identity.
About You:
  • Hold a tertiary and postgraduate qualification in education and/or leadership.
  • Have a current QCT registration or have the ability to acquire.
  • Be a strategic and creative thinker who can translate ideas and concepts into action.
  • Have a strong personal commitment and passion for student growth.
  • Have demonstrated experience in a leadership role of a similar nature.
  • Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with students, parents, teachers and relevant agencies.
  • A high degree of organisational skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
This is a full-time term time, 5-year fixed contract position. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
