NT Health is seeking an experienced and appropriately skilled professional to join the team as Regional Director for the East Arnhem Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Social Emotional Wellbeing Unit. The Director will drive high level leadership and clinical governance, ensuring adherence to mental health standards and legislative frameworks. The role is also pivotal in the strategic development, coordination, collaboration and integration of services across the region, ensuring services are culturally appropriate. You will lead a dynamic team of clinical and non-clinical staff to deliver contemporary, innovative and responsive services to clients across the East Arnhem Region.
The unit provides acute and sub-acute care to clients across the Region, which has a predominantly Aboriginal population of approximately 14,000 people across 11 remote communities and multiple homelands/outstations.
The role requires regular outreach visits to Groote Eylandt, to provide support to staff who are based on Island, and to meet with stakeholders as required.
