Your key responsibilities:- Provide professional and strategic advice to the Executive Director regarding process change and improvement to support informed decision making.- Improve existing operational processes and systems within QCAT through creative innovative solutions to advance service delivery outcomes.- Provide comprehensive and timely advice to the Executive Director on proposed new and amended QCAT jurisdictions.- Champion change through developing and refining operational business processes to ensure embedded continual improvement within QCAT.- Apply process mapping and gap analysis techniques to identify current state and develop and implement future fit for purpose processes.- Research best practices in other comparable organisations to identify alternative service delivery strategies and options and adapt to meet QCAT requirements- Facilitate open communication within QCAT to optimise internal collaboration and empower change across different business areas.- Foster harmonious working relationships with other divisions within Department of Justice and Attorney-General through close consultation with similar roles to facilitate the exchange of ideas and to support innovation within QCAT.- Lead and manage a small team through coaching, mentoring and Supporting an innovative and growth-based culture to support QCAT operations.
