The focus of your role
We’re looking for a Director to lead development of Invent’s Intelligent Industry Supply Chain Management capabilities in AUNZ. You will bring business expertise gained working within Supply Chain functions within an industrial enterprise in distribution or transport/logistics organisation. You will be able to join the dots between the business drivers and levers associated with transformation of SCM and the technology choices available. You will have a clear view about the role that data and technologies such as IoT, artificial intelligence, automation and analytics must play as organisations improve their operational decision making and processes. You will bring forth the latest innovations in technology, process optimisation, and talent development to drive efficient and reliable operations. Your role will involve shaping, selling, and executing transformation and innovation programs across clients' physical operations and digital capabilities.
Intelligent Industry aims to reinvent the future of industry by bringing together the physical and digital worlds: helping companies to invent intelligent products, operations and services at scale, in Australia the team is focused largely on Supply Chain, asset management and operations transformation.
What you’ll do:
- Be seen by the client as a planning SME, process expert and trusted advisor
- Identify business and innovation opportunities across the Supply Chain planning operations
- Work across multiple Supply Chain planning platforms: Anaplan, Kinaxis, o9 and BY
- Design and deliver digital strategies and transformation programs within Supply Chain operations and associated processes for key clients
- Understand and be able to articulate a future view of digital operations
- Identify, lead and shape new business development opportunities
- Inspire, hire, grow and develop our team members
- Bring Capgemini Invent’s and your own expertise to bear with clients, directly and through marketing, speaking and publishing activities.
- Experience, confidence, and maturity in working with leadership including CXO level and dealing with competing initiatives
- Demonstrated experience advising industrial organisations relating to their Supply Chain operations in Australia
- Experience in strategy and execution of major complex transformation programs enabled by tech/data, preferably relating to business and technology considerations.
- Must have a track record of new business generation and ongoing client relationships across multiple assignments
- Experience within Supply Chain Management is a requirement
- Consulting experience is preferred
- Ability to lead and manage diverse multi-capability teams within the IT and digital realm
