About the Role:
Embark on a fulfilling journey as a Support Worker at LPS. In your role, you'll contribute to the growth of our company while positively impacting the lives of individuals with disabilities. Whilst you're providing personalised support you'll empower individuals with a disability to achieve their goals and actively participate in their communities
Your Responsibilities Include:
• Providing tailored assistance to clients based on their unique NDIS plans and their stated goals.
• Fostering independence and confidence through daily living activities.
• Encouraging community engagement and inclusion via social and recreational activities.
• Building strong, supportive relationships with clients, families, and networks.
• Implementing effective behavior support strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients through accurate documentation.
What We're Looking For:
• Previous experience in disability support is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the NDIS framework and principles is a plus.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Certification in Disability Services (Certificate III or IV) or equivalent.
• Current First Aid certification and a valid driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle.
• Possession of Yellow and Blue cards is required
• Must have a reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance coverage.
