We are looking for support workers for both our social experiences program and employment program.
The role involves:
Social program
- Support participants in social and recreational outings
- Be prepared to engage in the activity with the participant
- Delivering personalised active support in a group and one-on-one setting
- Must be available on weekends for both day and night socials
- Must be prepared to go on a holiday with overnight stays on weekend or a whole week away interstate and overseas
- Must have driver's license
- Must be prepared to travel from time to time to assist at other sites.
Employment program
- Assist participants with disabilities to prepare, look for and gain meaningful employment
- Assist participants to find work experience opportunities
- Training and teaching participants time management skills, money management, taking instructions in the workplace and understanding expectations in workplace
- Must possess excellent writing skills to be able to draft case notes and progress reports
- Behavior management experience favourable
- Sales experience favorable
