Apprenticeship Careers Australia is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to undertake a Disability Support Traineeship travelling around Penrith and Western Sydney.
No experience necessary, training will be provided!
Role Description:
A Disability Support Worker is responsible for providing flexible and responsive support which promotes choice, self-determination, and independence in a range of community and in-home settings.
Duties include:
- Assistance with personal care
- Domestic duties
- Catheter Care
- Manual handling

Candidate Requirements:
- Must be Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Driver’s License, own car and Comprehensive car insurance
- Must be COVID -19 vaccinated
- Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
- Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
- National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check or willing to obtain
- First Aid with CPR or willing to obtain
- Willing to undertake formal qualifications in the related discipline
