Healthy Mind Australia is spreading its wings with the grand opening of our second office in Salisbury on March 8th, 2024. And guess what? We are now we are in Port Lincoln and we're on the lookout for Support Workers with a particular passion in mental health to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in the world of mental health and bring NDIS knowledge to the table, we want YOU! First of its kind, you have the opportunity to make this role your own.
Key Responsibilities –
- Provide support to patients with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
- Understand and provide appropriate care to patients with low needs to patients with high needs who demonstrate a range of challenging behaviours
- Assisting with activities relating to daily living, community support, and empowerment
- Work under general guidance from the personal seeking support, and their family, within clearly defined guidelines
- Support clients to participate in age-appropriate activities and tasks including employment, in home support and Community access.
- Support clients to access activities and outings in the community.
- Provide direct care assistance to each client in accordance with their service plan and as directed
Selection Criteria -
To be part of our vibrant team, bring:
- Cert III Individual Support or equivalent
- A curiosity and knowledge about mental health disorders.
- NDIS Screening Clearance
- A current South Australian WWCC
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Police Check
- Covid and Flu Vaccinated
- Drivers Licence
- Own car with Comprehensive Insuarance
