Hello, I live in Narangba with my two brothers, mum and grandmother. I have Cerebral Palsy and I am non- verbal but able to communicate with gestures and facial expressions. I am looking for a lovely Support Worker to join my current team for Wednesday and Friday mornings 6.00 - 8.00am. All my shifts are 2:1 with another member of my support team and if you have the availability you may be able to assist with other shifts when my current team members are away. No Experience is required as full training required.
The Role:
- Personal Care
- Light household duties
Shifts:
- Wednesday morning 6:00am – 8:00am
- Friday morning 6:00am – 8:00am
- Flexibility to pick up extra shifts when required
Essential requirements:
- Open Driver’s license and own vehicle with insurance
- Live within reasonable travelling distance
- Current First Aid Certificate & CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Flexibility to pick up additional hours when needed
Highly regarded but not essential:
- Hoisting Experience
- Peg Feeding Experience
- Experience with Alternate Communication Systems
