We are looking for outstanding Support Workers for our small business within the disability sector all over the Bass coast suburbs.
The Support Worker will report to the managers and be responsible for:
- Assisting NDIS participants with self-care and community outings: this includes but is not limited to assisting participant with activities of daily living, booking/planning outings, ensuring participants are well supported at all times, engaging in conversation, liaising with managers, support coordinators and other allied health
- Assisting NDIS participants in attending to their household tasks: this includes but is not limited to house cleaning, general tidying, dusting, sweeping, doing dishes
- Clocking in and out of shifts on time, being punctual
- Documenting case notes
Multiple positions available ranging from full time, part time and causal. Casual employees will have the option of extending to a full time position.
Hours between 15-38hrs a week.
Vacant are varying hours including morning, afternoon, evening and nights.
Salary will be dependent upon qualifications held.
Successful applicants must have:
- CPR
- First aid
- National police check
- Full comprehensive car insurance
- Drivers licence
- A certificate related to the disability sector: this includes but not limited to a certificate in aged care, home and community care, mental health, youth work, EN etc**
** Preferred but not essential. Willing to obtain or work towards a qualification essential. Applicants currently completing a certificate relating to an industry will be accepted.
