What will you do?
Duties and responsibilities of a Support Worker are unique and varied because those we support have unique needs. You could be working in people's homes and/or in the community. Examples of what you will do are:
- Daily living assistance: helping with meals, eating & feeding, light domestics, mobility, hoisting, transferring
- Personal care: showering & bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing
- Community access: support clients with attending appointment, hobby actives, going to work, shopping
- High intensity support: bowel care, PEG feeding, catheter care, ventilation support, sleepover, palliative care, complex behaviour support

Must Haves
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Check (Essential)
- Valid Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Essential)
- Valid Australian work rights
- Open Driver's Licence, reliable car & insurance
- Some sort of experience in Nursing, Disability Home Care, Aged Care and/or Community Work is will be an advantageous but not necessary.
