We are currently looking for two experienced support staff who can support our client based in Frankston, with the shifts below:
- Every week Monday to Thursday: 0800 till 1600, and Friday 0800 till 1000.
Qualifications & experience
- First Aid or CPR Certificate
- Personal Care Assistance Experience (Essential)
- Flu & Covid Vaccination
- Valid car registration and fully comprehensive insurance
- Available to work Monday to Friday and Weekends (Essential) - Morning and afternoon shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy and understanding towards the client's needs
- Compassion and being considerate
- Understanding of Autism and ADHD
About You
- You will have a strong customer experience mindset and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- 3-5 years Experience in the Disability Sector
- Excellent knowledge of NDIS
- You will be solutions-focused and outcomes-oriented
- You will have a continuous improvement team mindset
- You will be system savvy and comfortable with following policies and procedures.
- Understanding and supporting Behaviour support practitioner in developing a Positive Behaviour Support Plan.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care
- Assist with meal preparation
- Supporting to do household tasks
- Community access to appointments, groceries etc
- Encouraging and supporting the client to achieve their goals
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with client
- Location: Noble Park, Dandenong, Narre Warren, Cranbourne North, Cranbourne South, Clyde North.
