About the Role
We are looking for passionate Disability Support Workers to join our team in Orange, NSW, providing compassionate care to two young clients. In this role, you'll be a crucial part of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation, where you'll work alongside a supportive team. You'll have the autonomy to make a significant impact on the lives of our participants, assisting with personal health, facilitating social connections, nurturing domestic skills, and maintaining accurate documentation.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous work experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both within a team and autonomously
- Genuine desire to support people with disabilities using a person-centered approach
Requirements
To apply for this role, you must have or be willing to obtain:
- NDIS Worker Screening Card
- Working with Children Check
- Current police check conducted within the last 6 month
- Current first aid and CPR certificate
- Valid Australian driver's license (with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or another relevant qualification
