About the Role:
We are on the lookout for enthusiastic and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team and work with our client living with high complex needs. Your role will be a blend of care, helping with domestic tasks, personal hygiene and community support.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Mental Health/ Cognitive Disabilities: Candidates with experience supporting clients with Autism would be a plus.
- Experience with BOC's: Experience supporting clients with behaviours of concern.
- Creative Approach: A person-centered approach with a proactive attitude to encourage participants to thrive.
- Artistic Patience: Willingness to engage during challenging moments and consistently follow plans and directions.
(Must be available to do ALL HOURS listed)
Week 1
Friday: 3:00pm - 10:00pm
Week 2
Wednesday: 3:00pm - 10:00pm
Thursday: 3:00pm -10:00pm
Friday: 11:00pm - 9:00am (sleepover)
Saturday: 11:00pm - 9:00am (sleepover)
Requirements:
To thrive at Nextt, you'll need:
- NDIS workers screening check - must be current
- SA Working with children check - must be current
- NDIS Quality Safety and You module certificate - or willing to obtain
- Car with Comprehensive Insurance
- Drivers Licence
- Adherence to all mandatory directives per your state or territory.
Pay Rate:
SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates
- Base hourly rate: $33.96
