About the Role
We have a position for a casual Disability Support Worker, to provide support to our clients in Woodberry and Edgeworth. This role is a 7-day rotating roster, providing 24/7 care, including weekends and sleepovers.
Using your knowledge and skills in the coordination and delivery of programs, this role will include duties such as:
- Providing personal care and support to clients, including assistance with personal care
- Supporting clients with daily activities and tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and transportation
- Liaise with clients, families and carers as required
- Participate in program planning, training and team-building activities
- Following Operational and WHS procedures
Our ideal candidate:
- Passionate about making a difference in our client's lives
- Previous experience working in Disability Support or a similar role
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Ability to follow procedures
- Able to work 24/7 rotating rosters, including weekends and sleepovers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Current drivers licence
- A registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
- A current First Aid & CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
- A current NDIS screening check and National Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Be able to confidently use different forms of technology, including computer, smartphone or tablet
- Be a team player with a “how can I help” attitude

- $31.00 - $42.00 per hour pending experience, plus shift penalties of up to $72.00 per hour (pending roster)
