Position Purpose
We are seeking Support Workers to provide a range of daily living supports to our clients with spinal cord/acquired brain injuries.
Shifts Available:
- Weekday and Weekend hours available in Lismore & Dunoon
- Day Shifts 7:30am-3/4pm or 8am-12:30pm
- Afternoon shifts available 7 days a week: 5pm to 8pm
Key Selection Criteria
- Experience providing caring, high quality care support to people with Spinal cord Injuries and or Acquired Brain Injuries
- A positive attitude and responsible nature
- Attention to detail when writing shift notes
- Full Drivers licence - Driving a wheelchair accessible van will be required
- Demonstrated commitment to community integration and consumer participation, and commitment to HCS values
- Excellent verbal communication and rapport building skills.
- Willingness to undertake hi-intensity care; Skin Checks, Medication Prompting and bowel therapy. Full Training will be provided.
