Serin Towing & Recovery Pty Ltd has a fleet of more than 20 vehicles and decades of experience in the towing and transport industry. Our services are 24/7 every day of the year and extend across Perth and Western Australia. We have an excellent reputation with our clients and throughout the industry.
What is the position?
We currently have a position available, for a casual NIGHT SHIFT Dispatch Administrator/Fleet Co-Ordinator Thursday nights11pm to 7am Friday nights 9.00pm to 7am and Saturdays nights from 7.00pm to 7.00am.
This position is available for an immediate start however if you are currently employed and seeking a new position please still apply, we will wait for the suitable applicant.
This position is in a supportive team-based environment, we provide full training when you join us as well as continuing support through ‘on the job training’.
DUTIES
You will be responsible for, but not limited to;
- Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external clients and stakeholders, including liaising regularly with drivers and clients.
- Building productive working relationships with drivers and team members
- Answering incoming calls and assist with updates and 'ETA's' of tow trucks
- Allocating jobs to Drivers
- Dispatching trucks to the customers requirements, in a prompt and timely manner
- Inputting job data into our systems efficiently and accurately.
- Processing EFTPOS payments
- When required produce reports for management
- Always keep work area clean and tidy

To be successful you must possess the following;
- Ability to work in an environment that can be fast paced and deal with several activities at the same time
- Excellent written, numeracy and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and proven problem solving skills including lateral thinking
- Hold a current WA Drivers License and reliable motor vehicle as there is limited public transportation in the area.
- Self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised
- Previous experience in the transport/towing industry is desirable but not essential.
