Hilton Manufacturing commenced business in 1976 and now operates from two modern factories, one located in Wacol, Queensland and our Head Office located in Dandenong, in the South-East area of Melbourne. Hilton Manufacturing is a family-owned business and is recognized as the foremost component manufacturer to the Trucking Industry, Defence force, and Caravan industries providing services to all Australian Truck O.E.M.s and is the preferred supplier to Iveco, Mercedes, Kenworth, Volvo, MACK and Western Star. The company is also a preferred supplier to Defence and Caravan industries supplying all metal components including chassis, door frames and bumper bars. Hilton Manufacturing also supplies all of the Australian truck companies with aftermarket parts.

Located in Wacol, this will be a 38 Hours per week position, working Monday to Thursday (4-day week), 6AM to 4PM.
We currently have an on-going casual position, with the view to go fulltime available for suitably qualified personnel to join our team.
Key Accountabilities
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Complete necessary administration paperwork
- Prepares orders by processing requests and orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in dispatch area.
- Checks orders against job sheets ensuring parts are correct in quantity and meet a visual quality check standard.
- Assists with maintaining inventory controls.
- Maintain a variety of records, files, and reports; maintain records of stock and orders as necessary.
- Use business IT systems associated with warehouse function (Currently M1)
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean dispatch area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- To follow the guidelines and procedures in accordance with the Environmental Management System
- Operate a computer to process reports and forms and maintain inventory of parts as required.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery in a safe and responsible manner.
- Pick up and deliver items using Company vehicles as required.
Qualification and Experience
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Planning and organizing skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read and follow job sheets.
- Current Drivers’ License and reliable transport
- Forklift License
- MR Licence (desirable)
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Dispatch computer programs.
