The Dispatch Officer receives, verifies and receipts incoming inventory, ensuring any discrepancies are resolved or escalated to the Dispatch Supervisor, and that all documentation is recorded appropriately. They store and manage raw materials, finished goods, serialised inventory, spare parts and consumable items. They are responsible for the delivery of parcels, spare parts and consumables to internal customers in a timely manner.
The Dispatch Officer maintains the supply chain for circulating coin, including supporting the Dispatch Supervisor to process withdrawn coin claims. They monitor the security, control, storage and disposal of serialised inventory. They also support the dispatch section to fulfil and dispatch orders.
The duties of this position include:1. Receiving, verifying and receipting incoming inventory, ensuring discrepancies are resolved or escalated as required.2. Monitoring the security, control and storage of raw materials, finished goods, serialised inventory, spare parts and consumable items.3. Transferring inventory including parcels, spare parts and consumables to internal customers in a timely manner.4. Receipting and validating mutilated, worn and damaged coin returned by banks and Cash Carriers.5. Disposing of obsolete materials, dies and master tools.6. Fulfilling and dispatching circulating coin orders, ensuring procedures are followed.
