As a Dispatch and Receiving Officer, you will play a critical role in managing the seamless flow of goods within our organisation. 

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatch & Receiving Officer at Ultra Vision Lighting. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and oversee the dispatch and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. This role requires attention to detail, organisational skills, and effective communication to facilitate smooth logistics processes. You will work closely with our warehouse team to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
• Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labelling products accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and arrangement of products.
• Collaborate with other team members to fulfil customer orders and meet shipping deadlines.
• Assist in resolving any inventory or shipment discrepancies, working closely with the warehouse supervisor.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems and computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Forklift license would be beneficial.
