AddressWe are seeking a dedicated full-time or part-time Dispensary Assistant to join this busy pharmacy team. You will be working in a dynamic environment alongside three pharmacists, a retail manager, and other skilled assistants.
Goolwa pharmacy is community-driven, offering comprehensive services including vaccinations (flu, travel, COVID), counselling, dispensing, and medication management.
- Work alongside a supportive team with flexible hours.

Skills Required
- Confidence in product knowledge, make recommendations and provide comprehensive advice.
- Accept scripts and assist the Pharmacist in the dispensing of prescription medicines.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to show initiative and work with limited supervision.
- Experience with FRED; beneficial.
- Strong computer skills
- Certificate II and III in Community Pharmacy.
- Ability to assist in the management of a high volume of community Webster packs, alongside a skilled team.
- Eager to learn new skills and participate in ongoing development.
- Always work within QCPP standards and follow all Health and Safety legislation
Salary & Benefits
- A competitive hourly rate of $30, negotiable based on experience.
- Work hours that mirror shop operating times (Mon-Fri 9-6pm, Sat 9-1pm, Sun 10-1pm + public holidays), with flexibility within roster constraints.
