Role purpose
- To ensure timely and accurate counting and allocating of vault products to and from our customer base
- Balance tills with cash and other value products
- Work with internal parties to address corrections and reconcile discrepancies where required
- Adhere to designated compliance standards
- Complete all Travelex regulatory training requirements in a timely manner
- Fulfilling customer orders through accurate picking, packing and despatching of cash in timely manner
- Accounting for and balancing with appropriate systems
- Accurate Cash count and end of day balancing of tills
- Archive all electronic and physical records as per Travelex compliance requirements
- Completing necessary documents on orders being despatched and received
- Raising any discrepancy issues to Cash Operations Team Leader
- Any other reasonable instructions as required by the business
- A sound understanding of:
- General business practices
- Foreign exchange products and services
- A sound understanding of:
- Anti-Money Laundering legislations
- Secure cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated customer services skills, acquired through previous roles
- Previous experience in a high-volume cash handling and/or foreign exchange role
- Ability to effectively work in a team structure
- A degree of self-motivation, combined with good time management and planning skills
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly in a busy environment
- Strong communications skills
