Distribution Coordinator

On behalf of our client based in South Brisbane, we are currently seeking a high-level Distribution Coordinator for a 12-month contact.
As the Distribution Coordinator the purpose of your role is key in ensuring that products are supplied to Customers and the other strategic stock centres in a safe, efficient and effective manner by employing professional supply chain processes.Main responsibilities:

• Actively managing demand requirements in support of the capacity planning function, specifically administering the DRP process for regional demand of bulk products
• Ensure stock accuracy and reconciliation with SAP 4S, for all products at stock centres under distribution control, and is accounted for on a weekly basis
• Manage delivery redirections and process accordingly
• Ensure Stock in Transit is monitored to an acceptable level at all times
• Administration of the invoicing process for all regional freight providers, ensuring contractor invoices are checked and accurate before approving payment
• Ensure all Ex works sales are processed accurately and on time

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years in supply roles or equivalent
• Knowledge and application of distribution and logistics principals
• Knowledge and understanding of SHE requirements and regulations covering the storage and distributions of dangerous goods – advantageous
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to design and implement change
• PC applications of distribution and logistics principals
