Queensland Hydro is a publicly owned entity established by the Queensland Government to design, deliver, operate and maintain long duration pumped hydro energy storage assets that will be the cornerstone for the transformation of the state’s energy system.
The organisation will drive delivery of world-class pumped hydro assets to provide the long-term storage and reliability needed to power Queensland’s clean energy future. The organisation will play a critical role in assisting the Queensland Government to meet its renewable energy targets and net zero emissions by 2050, supporting the shift in the Australian economy to a decarbonised energy system.
Purpose
The role will be cross functional and will provide administrative support to the Quality, Health and Safety and Regional teams within the Development division.
Key Accountabilities of this role include:
- Maintain accurate and up to date records in various Project databases including TeamBinder, TRIM, Good Grants and Borealis
- Configuration of safety and quality software systems and databases, ensuring they align with organisational requirements and objectives.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the Development Division’s internal intranet and SharePoint pages, ensuring accessibility and usability for Queensland Hydro personnel.
- Provide guidance support and assistance to Queensland Hydro personnel in the use of the quality management and health and safety management systems.
- Support business leaders by providing a reporting function for quality and safety metrics as required, aiding in informed decision-making processes.
- Contribute to the review and update of all policies, procedures, and forms, ensuring adherence to high standards of quality in managing, accessing, and storing quality and health & safety documents.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives contributing ideas and solutions to enhance overall organisational performance.
- Generalist systems and administrative support to the Quality, Health and Safety and Regional Development teams facilitating smooth operations across departments.
About you
To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess:
- Prior experience in a Systems Coordinator and administerial role
- Ability to work with various software systems and databases such as Teambinder, TRIM, SharePoint, Borealis etc
- Organised, efficient and detail oriented.
- Capability to identify issues within systems and processes and develop effective solutions.s
- Ability to maintain accuracy and precision in data entry and documentation.
- Understanding of health, safety, and quality systems
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a dynamic work environment.
- Able to proactively build internal relationships and work collaboratively across different functions.
- Be competent and proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in developing internal processes.
