This fantastic full-time opportunity will give the successful individual the chance to work with best in class medical products in a modern warehouse, located in Greystanes.
The position is primarily responsible for warehouse functions including, but not limited to, unloading, sorting, picking, packing and shipping.
POSITION SUMMARY AND DUTIES:
- Receive and inspect inbound parts according to established SOPs to identify any defects or malfunctions.
- Put away products in correct locations based on SOPs.
- Receive returns, count and confirm quantities, determine condition, correlate to system processes, and complete paperwork.
- Follow QA procedures to clean parts as identified by the system.
- Accuracy and Timeliness in processing of defective parts, escalating concerns to Team Leader.
- Stage and securely pack products based on SOPs.
- Place the appropriate documentation with each order and ensure all cases are clearly labelled and accurately marked (e.g. pick/pack slips, stickers).
- Handle products and perform duties according to client procedures, SOPs and government/compliance regulations.
- Respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Use scanners to electronically scan barcodes.
- Encourage safe work practices in others, communicate to Supervisor areas where safety training and enforcement is needed, and participate in Comprehensive Health & Safety Program (CHSP) initiatives
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order (e.g., computers, scanners, and other equipment used.)
EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS
- Education Level: High school Diploma or equivalent.
- LF and LO license.
- 1 – 2 years of WMS Experience (S.A.P or any other)
- At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
- Basic Computing Skills (Excel, Word).
- Good Communication Skills.
- A "can do" attitude.
- Flexibility in working hours.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies.
