Distribution Supervisor

The OpportunityJoin an iconic Australian Manufacturing company in its growth phase as the Distribution Supervisor. This role offers a unique blend of warmth of a family-run business combined with the growth opportunities of an ASX-listed corporation. This full time permanent position will oversee the transport fleet and warehouse operations. This role is crucial to the manufacturing facilities operations and maintaining a high-quality reputation.Key Responsibilities

• Manage a fleet of vehicles, including prime movers, tankers, and refrigerated trailers
• Coordinate vehicle servicing and repairs to optimise asset lifecycle
• Educate on driver behaviour and vehicle care standards
• Ensure fleet compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements
• Coordinate efficient rostering and on-time dispatches with customer service
• Oversee inbound packaging and raw materials inspection for accuracy
• Manage accurate picking, packing, and inventory levels to prevent wastage
• Implement quality control processes to maintain product integrity
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Manage accurate inventory records and lead technological improvements

Selection Criteria

• Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain or Business Management
• Proven experience in transport/fleet management, preferably in FMCG manufacturing
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Familiarity with inventory management systems/software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
