About the Role:
A great fixed term opportunity exists due to parental leave for a District Support Officer to join a positive, supportive and close-knit team based in Dandenong 3 days a week.
Key responsibilities of this varied role will involve:
- Provision of administrative support
- Preparation of documents that may include letters, memos, presentations, reports, minutes and briefing notes
- Provide support at meetings including, organising and scheduling, agenda preparation, venue and catering requirements
- Pager Management
- Records administration
- Database and systems coordination
- Customer service both internally and externally
- General office support
About You:
The perfect candidate should be proactive and enthusiastic about joining a close-knit team, where they can utilise their diverse skill set across various tasks. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork, with excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone, being essential.
Adaptability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role. Being self-motivated and ready to contribute wherever necessary is crucial. Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities, coupled with a proactive and independent approach, are highly valued.
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly the MS Office suite, is required, along with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
