Wyndham Plumbing Group is a leading Plumbing company in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, based in Wyndham. Our work ranges from residential to light commercial projects including maintenance, general and gas plumbing.  We are known for our excellent levels of customer service and ability to fix problems that other companies can’t or won’t. As a result the business has grown and we have decided that it is time to get some help – but we only want the best help!  

We are recruiting for an Office Administrator for a full-time position, who will be responsible for assisting the Director in ensuring all office activities are completed in a timely, accurate and professional manner.  You may currently be working for another Plumbing or related Trade Business and be looking for a new challenge.  

Wherever you currently are, these non-negotiables are absolutely important to us, and you must be able to do to qualify to work at Wyndham Plumbing Group:

  1. Be responsible for Scheduling jobs for the we have on board tradesmen.
  2. Have excellent customer service skills and phone manner and be able to communicate effectively with clients.
  3. Communicate effectively with the team regarding ordering materials and job progress.
  4. Strive towards producing high quality work in appropriate time frames. 
  5. Have fun, enjoy work and be proud of what you achieve in your working day.
  6. Be motivated and help your team to meet timelines and uphold the Wyndham Plumbing Groups professional image.
  7. Have a minimum 2years’ experience in an office administration role.
  8. Be experienced using XERO and Service m8 (ideally or another accounting package such as MYOB.)

Below are some preferred skills and experience that aren’t essential, but will certainly impress us; 

  1. Have knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable processing and entering and generating invoices.
  2. Ensure all tax obligations are met (GST/PAYE) and pay wages and manage holiday pay.
  3. Assist with marketing activities (e.g. mailing letters, customer database, social media etc.)
