The Role
The Document Controller will provide document control and administration assistance to projects. Your duties will include;
- Document control using Aconex
- Managing all incoming and outgoing documents
- Logging, distribution, filing and archiving of documents and drawings received
- Maintain registers including materials and drawings registers and files
- Control all project documentation
- Assist with QA coordination and document control
- Assist with the lodgement of design state deliverables documentation
- Track design comments and close outs
- Assist with preparation of monthly reports
- Provide general project administration support when needed
The successful candidate will have a strong proven Document Controller background. You will have the following key competencies:
- 12 months + experience in a Document Controller role
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Aconex experience highly desirable
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Competent in basic administrative and secretarial skills including the ability to prepare general correspondence, filing and document control, minute taking, and office management
- Understanding WHS and QA requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in the construction industry or similar is highly desirable
