About the Role
As the Document Controller, you’ll be part of a team that's currently undertaking the upgrade of several dams throughout SEQ. You’ll be working with Project Directors, Project Managers, suppliers, contractors and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure document management protocols are followed.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Distributing various correspondence to the Project Directors, Project Managers and team members
- Ensuring all document submissions are compliant with the project document formats
- Implementing workflows and collating, issuing and receiving documents in accordance with project requirements for the development, review and approval of design documentation.
- Recording issues and tracking the location of control documents and drawings.
- Maintain audit document records.
- Assisting with the development and management of specialised document control management system, including the development and monitoring of internal and external document control protocols.
- Managing the project close out processes within the program including maintaining Program Registers.
Skills | Experience | Qualifications
Technical skills:
- 5 + years experience in a similar role
- Experience using a variety of Document Management Systems and other specialised project software (TeamBinder preferred, but not essential).
- Experience with Major projects or Civil infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to controlling project, engineering design and vendor documents and drawings.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
