Responsibilities:
- Define, manage, and enforce compliance of system processes, focusing on the lifecycle stages (create, revisions, approval, publishing).
- Control and register information to and from various sources, both internal and external, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and engage with the EDM Support Team to address system issues and explore continuous improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the EDMS Support Team on upgrade works for ALIM and ProjectWise, participating in weekly meetings to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide ongoing technical support, training, and guidance on best practices to users for efficient system utilisation.
- Generate adhoc reports as required to facilitate decision-making processes.
- Oversee the department email, ensuring timely and effective management of communications.
- Conduct regular audits of systems to guarantee compliance with established standards.
- Assist Draftspersons with minor drafting work to contribute to the accuracy of documentation.
- Manage the Contractor Document Control Support role, prioritising tasks, allocating work, and reviewing outcomes to meet established KPIs.
- Proven experience in Document Control, particularly in asset lifecycle information management within the mining industry.
- Understanding of the differences in engineering disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of system processes and compliance enforcement.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in providing technical support, training, and guidance to users.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency in information management.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity with ProjectWise and ALIM systems is highly desirable.
- Potential for permanent placement based on performance and business needs.
- Local role in Weipa, eliminating the need for extensive travel.
