Domestic Assistance / Cleaner

You will be responsible for providing clients a range of high-quality home and domestic services aimed at providing support and assistance to aged-care and disability clients, so that they can maintain their skills, independence, and quality of life within their home and community.

This may include assisting in the following areas:

• General domestic cleaning tasks.
• Deep cleaning including the bathroom and kitchen areas.
• Other general Domestic Assistance and laundry.
• Organising refills for chemicals and cleaning supplies as needed

Qualifications

• Experience working in aged care, disability, or community nursing (desirable)
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods (desirable)
• Clean, reliable car with comprehensive motor insurance
• Access to a smartphone for work purposes
• Valid NSW drivers license
• Reliable hours and days of availability
• Proof of Covid-19 vaccination (desirable)
• Proof of Influenza vaccination (desirable)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Current Working With Children Check
• Willingness to travel
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used to in cleaning
• Caring nature, professional approach and passion for aged care and disability
