Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home Aged Care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for Domestic Assistance staff to join our Gold Coast team. You can enjoy a flexible and balanced work life and support people in your community to live their best life possible.This role involves travelling between customer’s homes and assisting them with domestic duties.
- Multiple positions across the Gold Coast for Domestic Assistant workers, Mon - Fri 10-15 hours per week.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Provide updates on customer progress following each service.
About you:
- Caring, compassionate & friendly
- Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
- Reliable & dependable
- Ability to build rapport & good working relationships
- Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback
What you will need:
- Criminal Record Check
- Current First Aid certificate/CPR
- Current Australian Drivers License
- Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
- Smart phone with internet access
