A unique and rewarding opportunity for an experienced and accomplished relationship builder to join Charles Darwin University’s Advancement team.
About the PositionAs the Donor Relations Manager, you will support the Vice-President, Community Connections in developing and managing donor engagement, stewardship, and fundraising strategies.
This includes maintaining relationships with individuals and organisations who financially support the University, including scholarship donors.
The position also manages a Donor Relations Officer and ensures exceptional data collection and reporting and identifying opportunities for improvement.
About YouTo be successful, you will require:
A degree level qualification with subsequent relevant experience in Advancement or other relevant discipline such as not-for-profit management, communications, business management or marketing.
Minimum 5 years of relevant fundraising experience, preferably in education.
Prior donor engagement and stewardship experience.
Demonstrated ability to use initiative to meet challenges, including planning, implementation, and reporting.
Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
A clear and confident communication style, which demonstrates institutional knowledge and integrity.
Superior interpersonal and listening skills and the proven ability to develop and negotiate complex relationships and proposals in person and in writing with a diverse portfolio of donors.

Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 8. The base salary will be in the range of $102,831 – $116,253 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $120,312 - $136,016 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
