AddressOur client is a leading Aluminium Fabrication company dedicated to precision engineering and innovative design. As they continue to expand they are looking seeking a skilled draftsperson to join their team. With cutting edge technology and a commitment to excellence, our client specialises in crafting bespoke aluminium structures for diverse industries.
The draftsperson position is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, primarily collaborating with the engineering and production teams. The main objective is to ensure consistent high-volume production and timely delivery of projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with their engineering and production teams to create detailed drawings and specifications for Aluminium Fabrication projects
- Utilise SketchUp and SolidWorks software to generate 2D and 3D drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements
- Review other technical documents to identify potential issues and propose solutions
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to procure materials and components for fabrication processes
- Assist in the development of new product designs and improvement of existing ones through innovative drafting
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SketchUp, SolidWorks) with a minimum of 5 years of drafting experience in the manufacturing or construction industry
- Strong understanding of Aluminium Fabrication techniques and materials
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not essential
