Draftsperson (Microvellum) Fulltime Position

Our Company is known for building the highest quality caravans. We operate 7 manufacturing facilities based in Campbellfield and have 180 staff.

Working closely with the Drafting Supervisor and other members of the drafting/design team, your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare 3D modelling and CAD drawings for chassis and caravans  showing plans, materials & dimensions
• reduce drawings to the agreed scope and provide drawings to our Factory Team Leaders for production
• Review and make adjustments to meet customer requirements
• Review and make adjustments to meet regulatory requirements
• Work through design issues with our Production Director, other drafting/design team members and production unit leaders
• In this role for the right candidate there is scope to also work on research & development projects

To be considered for this career defining position you must have the legal right to work in Australia on a full-time basis and have the following skills and experience:

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

-Minimum TAFE Qualified in relevant area

-Competence and experience in both 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional drawings

-Excellent PC Skills including competent knowledge of CAD Software and Microvellum software

-Well developed written and oral communication skills 

-Detail conscious and customer focused

-Ability to work autonomously on projects with limited direction

-Seeking employment in the manufacturing sector

-Must have legal right to work in Australia

-The position is based in our office in Campbellfield given the need to  inspect vans during production. Working from home is not possible. 

 May suit an experienced candidate seeking work/life balance hours.(7.00am -3.30pm Mon-Thur, 7.00am to 1.00pm Fridays).

We may require the working of reasonable overtime during peak production.
