Draftsperson/Purchasing & Estimating Officer

This position is responsible for the Drawings, CNC programming along with Purchasing and Estimating works. 

Preferred knowledge

• PYTHA or similar type of software
  • But willing to learn
• CNC programming experience
• Purchasing and Estimating experience
• Site measurements Joinery Drawings for CNC Ordering Material
• High Attention to detail
• Evidence of drawing experience
• Experience within Building/Cabinetry Manufacturing industries highly regarded.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• To liase with clients on specialised custom jobs
• Manage the processing of supplier Orders, and Delivery Receipts
• Ensure stock levels are kept at optimum business levels, including
  • Weekly stock purchases
  • Special purchases
  • Stock counts / Stock Takes
• Ensure goods are put away in timely manner (including own)
• Communicate with Project Managers, Designers & Suppliers seeking/providing specific information
• Prepare Bill of Material for purchasing

KPI’s

• Inventory – Stock Control, Stock Valuation target, back orders, stock outs.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Licenses

• White Card (not essential)
• Forklift
• Drivers License 

Other

• 40hr working week 
• Overtime may be required
