Following a strong period of growth off the back of a multi-million-dollar renovation, this local institution is on the hunt for their next Assistant Manager to oversee the smooth running of all areas of the venue.

What do you need?
- At least 2 years of all-round experience in a busy, multi-faceted, fast paced environment
- Extensive experience with food and beverage operations
- Weekend and public holiday availability
- Pass a Police Check
- Have a sense of humour, be in it for the long haul & enjoy what you do!
What are your job tasks and responsibilities?
- Maintain the venue’s revenue, profitability and quality goals through efficient bar and restaurant operations, productivity, and guest service standards
- Managing the FOH roster and all aspects of service for the venue
- Hands on approach in your leadership
- Cash handling skills including cash up and daily reconciliations
- Manage open and closing procedures
- Sound licensing knowledge
- Bar and Venue inventory management and ordering across food, beverage, and venue maintenance
- Understand wage percentages, COGs, P&L
- Creative input in cocktail lists and wine/beer/spirits purchasing
- Ensuring the venue is kept clean and tidy and prep is completed on a weekly basis
- Working to ensure excellent guest experience and good staff morale
- Ensure quality control measures are implemented
- Recruit and train staff of all levels
- Ensure compliance with food safety and safety regulations
