Martyn Mining Services are currently seeking experienced Drill & Blast Supervisor to join our WA team and help strengthen our capability. MMS deploy, operate and maintain a modern fleet of Top Hammer and DTH drilling rigs including Sandvik Pantera DP1500i, Leopard DI650i.
About You
- Demonstrated mining experience
- A strong working knowledge of drill and blast safety procedures and regulations
- Supervisor experience (Drill and Blast)
- Shot firer and Drill Competencies are desirable
- Ability to establish and maintain a positive working relationship with the customer
As part of your role, you will need to be able to:
- Provide direct supervision of the Drilling & maintenance operations and effectively allocate resources
- Maintain a safe operation throughout the team by maintaining statutory compliance and demonstrating visible leadership in safety
- Provide planning and leadership to co-ordinate Drilling activities for the mine operations
- Ensure drilling production targets are met while maintaining efficient daily operation
- Provide support, mentoring and training of Driller crew
